Refund Policy
This policy applies to cyclesarc.shop and forms part of the Terms & Conditions. There is no checkout open yet, so nothing here is in force today; it describes what will apply to an order from the moment one can be placed.
Everything here is a download
This decides the whole page, so it goes first. Cycles Arc sells digital goods only: a print is a print-ready PDF you print yourself, stationery and agendas and planners and journals are printable files, the calendar feeds are a subscription your own calendar reads, and the apps are software you are licensed to use.
Nothing is posted to you. There is no parcel, no delivery address and no shipping, so there is nothing to send back and no return postage to argue about. What you buy arrives as a file or as access, and it arrives immediately.
Your right to withdraw
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. Nothing in this policy takes that away, and where anything below reads as narrower than the law, the law wins.
A download that has started is not refundable
This is about files you keep — prints, stationery, agendas, planners, journals. A file cannot be handed back. Once it is on your machine you have it, whatever you decide afterwards — so the withdrawal right ends the moment delivery begins. Feeds and apps are not files and the next section deals with them separately.
The law allows that on three conditions, and we meet all three rather than simply declaring the right away. You must ask for delivery to start immediately, you must acknowledge that you are giving up the right to cancel, and we must confirm both back to you on something you can keep. At checkout you will find a single box — not ticked for you, and separate from accepting these policies — saying so in plain words:
- I want my download to start immediately, and I understand that once it starts I lose my 14-day right to cancel.
Your receipt repeats it back, so you keep a record of what you agreed to — that repetition is the third condition, and it is why the record is yours rather than ours. If you ticked it but never began the download, the 14 days stand and you get your money back.
Subscriptions
A calendar feed or an app is not a file you keep but a service we keep running, and the law treats the two differently. Here the 14 days stand whether or not you ticked anything — the tick above belongs to downloads and does not reach a subscription.
So if you change your mind within 14 days of starting, you get your money back, less a proportionate amount for the days you actually had the service. If you asked us to switch it on straight away, those days are what you pay for and nothing more. After the 14 days, cancel whenever you like: the subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and is not charged again, and we do not refund part of a later period.
Plates computed for you
A plate computed for your own date and place is still a file, and it is covered by the same tick and the same rule as every other file here: once the download begins, the withdrawal right ends. We claim no extra exemption for personalised work, because the tick already does the job and a second ground would only muddy it. Being personalised takes nothing else away from you either — if the plate is wrong, When something is wrong below applies to it in full.
When something is wrong
This is separate from withdrawal, it is not limited to 14 days, and no tick affects it. If a file will not open, will not print as we described it, is not what you ordered, is missing from your order, or contains an error we made, you are entitled to have it put right or to have your money back under the legal guarantee — two years for consumers in the EU, and the equivalent rights in the UK. Write to us with your order number and we will settle it. Personalised plates are covered by this in full.
One thing that is not a fault: how a file looks after you have printed it. Paper, ink and printers vary and we control none of them. If a file does not match how it was described, that is ours to fix; if your printer rendered it differently from your screen, that is not.
How a refund is made
Checkout is operated by a merchant of record, who is the seller for your purchase and is named on the checkout page and on your receipt. A refund is made by them, back to the payment method you used, and we make no charge for it. Write to customersupport@kairoico.com with your order number — you do not have to work out who to ask, we take it from there.
We acknowledge every request within 3 business days, and a refund due to you is made within 14 days of your telling us.
If we cannot settle it between us, an EU consumer may take the matter to the consumer dispute committee in their own country. In Estonia that is the Consumer Disputes Committee at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority.
